Role: Commercial Finance Analyst

Reporting directly to our Head of Commercial Finance you will join a team of three, each supporting one of our core channels. To enable sugary success, you will act as a financial business partner to our Sales teams.

How you’ll contribute to the mix:
-Acting as a strategic financial business partner to the Sales team; providing valuable insights and guidance on business decisions and quantifying key business drivers
-Using knowledge and judgement to provide input to the sales forecasts for your channel working closely with the wider business teams.
-Facilitate meaningful forecasts and executable actions with which to manage the business
-Acting as a Finance lead for key business growth strategies which will be instrumental in enabling understanding and scenario planning through best-in-class analysis
-Owning the financial appraisal of promotional and trade investment opportunities; ensuring compliance and control of corporate spend
-Ensuring accurate and timely management of the commercial month end process including reconciliation of trade spend accruals and cost centre accounting
-Developing systems and reporting to improve both the content of the standard reporting packs and the process of report production
Can you supply our essential ingredients?
-Qualified Accountant with previous commercial accounts experience
-Advanced Excel user
-Comfortable handling large volumes of data.
-Excellent communicator who is confident speaking to all levels within the business.
-Flexible and positive can-do attitude with the ability to achieve tight deadlines
-Team player who isn’t afraid to get stuck in but also can confidently work independently.
-Movex/ M3 Software knowledge is highly desirable but not essential, not forgetting SAP too!
