About the role...Based at our office in Christchurch, we are searching for a Fixed Term Finance Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to lead the Kathmandu Brand accounting at month end, provide business partnering to the Brand executive and support for the FP&A team on the rolling forecast and budgeting processes. Day to day responsibilities include managing month end close processes for all Kathmandu entities and associated reporting to ensure;
  • Completion of monthly management accounts
  • Completion of half year and full year statutory reporting packages
  • Month end journals and reconciliations are completed
  • Technical accounting considerations and review of accounting policies is completed
  • Internal accounting and control policies are developed
About you...
You will have:
  • Experience of external audit processes
  • Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 4 years PQE
  • Intermediate to advanced level with Excel and familiar with standard operating systems including Windows, Word, Microsoft Outlook
  • Big 4 external audit experience
  • Strong communication and people skills to liaise with internal and external parties
