The Company

My client is a privately owned, family business with operations in New Zealand and Australia who are specialists in their field. Going through a period of change, they are looking for a commercially focused, Management Accountant for an initial 4-month term.

The Role

The role of Management Accountant reports to the Head of Finance. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support the Head of Finance to provide insightful analytics into the business performance, with KPI reporting and analysis
• Prepare annual budgets for the New Zealand business
• Consolidating the NZ and Australia budgets
• Adding commercial insight to their tender pricing process
• Partnering with multiple cost centre managers
• Other ad hoc analysis as required.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, we are looking for a qualified or equivalent Accountant who has a strong management accounting/analytical background. You will need to have the following attributes:

• Strong excel capability and experience with large ERP systems
• Large business experience
• Strong communication and partnering skills

My client has hybrid working and can offer two days from home, with Thursday being a team day for the whole team.
