* Hybrid: 2/3 days per week in office - rest from home

This role will provide a comprehensive and professional Financial Reporting service to the organisation and associated companies. This service includes overseeing and having responsibility for the provision and maintenance of Financial Accounts (Statutory), Management Accounts and Technical Accounting (Capital, Tax, Leases, Grants etc) for the org.
The post holder will work closely with the Director of Finance to deliver an effective financial reporting service and continuously seek to improve the team.
The postholder will manage four posts and will contribute to reports to the Executive Management Team (EMT).
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
Responsible for leading the annual financial account preparation for the organisation by maintaining financial accounting records and producing statutory accounts on an entity and consolidated basis.
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
To lead the process of creating annual budgets (Capital and Revenue) for WCH and facilitate the budget sign off meeting between EMT and budget holders.
Corporation Tax
To assist in the creation and submission of corporation tax returns as appropriate.
Systems
To lead on review and improvement of the group’s financial systems including the fixed asset register.
VAT & Service Charges
To support the process of recording and accounting for VAT and service charges.
QUALIFICATIONS
Fully qualified member of the CCAB* or CIMA.
