National Car Rental concern seeks to appoint a Junior Accountant on a contractual basis to be based at their Head Office in Airport Industria.

Contract Period: Immediate until February / March 2025
Monday to Friday, 08h00 - 17h00.

Salary: R20,000 per month slightly negotiable

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed Accounting Degree
• 2+ years' accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software and banking platforms
• Familiarity with VAT regulations and compliance

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Senior Accountants with ad hoc functions
• Processing payables on the accounting system
• Expense control and recording
• Fixed asset recording and capturing
• Preparation of reconciliations
• Preparation of accrual schedules
• Knowledge and application of VAT regulations
