Based in the Northshore my client is on a continuous upward trajectory with growing the business in all aspects. They are on the hunt for a driven, detailed Financial Accountant to join the business and add lasting value long term.

The Role

The role will report and work alongside the Finance/Operations Manager and will involve tasks such as:

• Owning and finalising month end
• Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Provide insight, trends and recommendations to senior leaders
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant financial regulations

Your profile:
To be the right person for this role we are looking for:

• A driven, forward-thinking attitude
• Proven ability to investigate the WHY behind that what
• Effective communication to internal and external stakeholders
• Experience / familiarity with financial modelling in excel
• A resilient self-starter
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field
