Join our client in Dewsbury where you will support the Finance Manager with general accounting duties and month end processes.

This role which will suit an individual with at least a few years of experience working in a rounded accounts role, now looking to develop in a well established finance team under a qualified Finance Manager.

Main duties of the role:

• Maintain the fixed asset register and post depreciation at month end.
• Assist in the reconciliation of the balance sheet.
• Assist the finance manager om preparing monthly actual results, forecasts and KPI's
• Prepare the quarterly VAT return
• Analysis of nominal accounts
• Reconciliation of billing scheduling and allocation of cash to invoices
• Settle finance agreements at the end of their term or at point of sale.
• Assist Finance Manager with year-end audits and ad hoc requests.

Key requirements:

• Strong Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Salary:
£28,000 - £33,000

Study support can be provided for AAT, ACCA and CIMA qualifications.
