FinTech RS are supporting one of our energy service clients with the recruitment of a Senior Accountant. This role is to provide maternity cover for 12-15 months with a start date as soon as possible.



Duties will include:

• Maintain and input financial information into business systems and maintain the integrity of financial and reporting systems.
• Extracting information as and when required to compile monthly management accounts reporting and analysis, as well as general Accountant duties.
• Produce and review monthly management accounts
• Produce monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Review monthly ledgers
• Collate and review payroll data before submitting it to payroll providers
• Submission and payment of taxes
• Provide data and analysis to the business and group to aid in decision-making
• Review monthly accruals and prepayments
• Process VAT returns and payments
• Assist with management and direct report mentoring
