Payroll Manager
Payroll Manager | Hybrid | Up to £45k |interim| Nottingham
Cherry Professional are seeking an Interim Payroll Manager for a leading public sector organisation. We're seeking a skilled professional to oversee our entire payroll team and ensure seamless payroll operations. This role is based in Nottingham and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities:
Manage the full day-to-day payroll
Generating reports, in line with current legislation and future legislative changes.
Development of the best practice to ensure that time critical objectives are achieved, and that robust processes and controls are constantly reviewed and updated accordingly.
Ensure GDPR is applied to all financial and non-financial data; including all payroll systems and employee data is secure and compliance is achieved against internal and external standards.
Look at continuous process improvement, along with implementing new structures within the department.
Provide direction to team to ensure that deadlines are met, and priorities are managed correctly.
Produce relevant management reports as required.
Support in maintain and developing controls in accordance with statutory and audit requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
A qualified Payroll practitioner (CIPP desirable) with several years’ experience running a large payroll
You will have a proven track record of managing a significant payroll
Up to date with past and present payroll legislation impacting large organisations.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload accordingly.
IT literate, advanced Excel skills.
Be able to perform manual Calculations.
