Pure are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on an 18 month maternity cover contract, this role is based in central Cambridge and will offer hybrid working. The current staff member is due to leave early November so a full handover will be given.

This role will manage 3 people within the ledger team, there is a wider team of 9 and the team takes responsibility of bank accounts, cashflow, intercompany reconciliations and management accounts, the key responsibilities are as follows -

- Preparation of the cashbook and cashflow forecasting
- Prepayments and Accruals
- Responsibility to ensure reforecast deadlines are met
- Ensure management accounts are accurate across the main business
- Mentoring the team and checking their monthly workflow responsibilities are accurate.

You will ideally be a qualified Accountant with proven experience in budgeting and forecasting and some line management experience. You must also have strong attention to detail and accuracy with large complex data.
