As an Accounts & Outsourcing Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of high-quality outsourcing and accounting services to a portfolio of clients. You will oversee a team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, and support senior management in achieving departmental goals.
Key
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client service.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support.
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports for clients.
Manage the delivery of outsourced accounting functions including bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, and management accounts.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve internal processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Requirements
ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
Prior experience of managing or mentoring more junior members of staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding client service.
Benefits
Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
