We are looking for a Financial Controller for a Shipping Company having offices in Mumbai, Singapore and Dubai.
Job Profile:Responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of financial operations and employee relations.Ensure that accounting & payments to suppliers in time, reconciliation of bank and ledger accounts, and establishing effective control over collection from customers and payment to vendors.Finalizations, MIS Reporting, and Accounts supervision.Submitting of Various details/reports to management as and when required.Bi weekly releasing Debtors report to management.Daily basis vetting/instructing Da payment to DA Desk and Diaboss.independently ensure that Internal & External audit requirements are met and proper validation of accounts.(SIBU/SBMS/SAVI UK and others)Comply the requirements for the purpose of Corporate and other requirements.Mange day to day Cash Flow. Prepare Fund Flow projections and update Management on funding requirements. Monitor levels of funding and prepare cash flow projections as and when required.Ensure that all statutory Returns regarding taxation are filed in time.Liaise with Chartering, Operation, Maintenance, IT and Human Resource Department to exercise effective accounting, financial control.Ensure that all MIS reports are submitted as per the deadline ensure its accuracy.Negotiate with Vendors/Contractors for with the local supplies as assigned by Managementy.Requirement:Qualified CA with 1 year post qualification experienceThorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principalsStrong leadership, management, and organizational skillsStrong analytical and reasoning abilities with superior numeric skillsPossess well-developed interpersonal and communication, verbal, and written skillsMust be result and profit oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations and perform multifaceted projectsMust be highly motivated and have the ability to function independently and multi-taskMust be detail orientedAbility to manage and direct employeesAbility to resolve employee conflicts, problems, and complaintsExpert computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook withemphasize on using a merge program that transfers data to the appropriate formsAccounting software experience a plus
