Management Accountant - Worksop - £35,000 - £40,500 + Study Support

Responsibilities:


Complete monthly management accounts for multiple contracts
Produce accurate and detailed P&L’s, variance reporting and MI pack for each contract
Review revenue & costs
Balance sheet reconciliation
Ownership of budgets & rolling forecasts
Preparing month end trading packs
Work closely with the Operational Managers to drive the monthly forecasting process and efficiencies for their contract to drive performance
Work to drive efficiencies and Profit Improvement Plans
Prepare various ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests
Ensure the necessary contract controls are in place to provide accurate accounting for the contractRequired Skills & Experience:

Strong IT literacy including Excel
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with non-finance operational staff and able to work with clear responses
Actively studying ACCA, CIMA or ACA
Sound experience in the preparation of Management Accounts to tight deadlines
