Management Accountant
Working in a busy and ever-changing lean manufacturing environment, with the opportunity to use your knowledge and skillset to support the financial controller.
Management Accountant
Responsibilities:
* Production of monthly management accounts including journals, reconciliations, overhead analysis.
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Oversee inter-company invoicing and reconciling group balances.
* Responsible for maintaining the standard cost of Raw Materials, WIP and Finished Goods
* Reporting productions variances, implementing changes / improvements with the production team to resolve costing or process issues.
* Monitoring costs against budgets and investigating variances.
* Preparing weekly cash flow forecasting.
* Quarterly VAT Returns.
* Supporting site Financial Controller.
* Providing line management and guidance to the Finance Administrator
* Opportunity to support the implementation of the new ERP system in 2024, ensuring data integrity and ownership going forward
What we're looking for in the successful Management Accountant:
* CIMA or ACCA fully qualified or finalist.
* Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Maths or equivalent experience
* Management Accountant with experience of Manufacturing environments
* Cost & Project Accounting
* Able to work autonomously and part of integrated teams
* Somebody who has further career ambitions to develop into a Financial Controller in the future
