Your New Role As Payroll Assistant:
Working as part of a team, reporting to the Payroll Manager you will deal with high volume weekly/monthly/fortnightly payrolls, therefore you will ideally have previous experience of working within a similar role within bureau/umbrella/accountancy environment OR an inhouse payroll role, processing payrolls at multiple intervals ie. weekly/monthly etc. You will be responsible for full end to end payrolls on behalf of your clients and be passionate about providing an excellent payroll service, possessing a good attention to detail.
Day to Day Duties :
Small and high volume payroll processing duties processing weekly/monthly payrolls via SAGE (training provided)
Setting up of new client payrolls including PAYE
RTI submissions
Assisting with BACS transmissions
Some awareness of CIS/FPS/EPS ideally
P45's/P46's/P60's
SMP/SSP
HMRC queries and client liaison via email and telephone
Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:
Ideally you will have c 2yrs+ previous payroll experience within bureau/umbrella/accountancy OR experience within a similar role in an inhouse payroll processing role.
Full end to end payroll processing experience
Strong client liaison skills
