An exciting new role has arisen for a Senior Accountant role for a global market-leading manufacturing company based in Maidenhead.
The company are experiencing exponential growth following a change in processes.
This role offers various progression routes, hybrid working options, exposure to senior stakeholders and many more benefits.
Position Responsibilities
Participate in the month-end closing process and produce related reports.
Manage inventory accounting and reporting.
Supervise coach a junior accountant.
Partnering with Operations team.
Contribute to the preparation of regular manufacturing and operational reports.
Manage and assist with the annual standard setting process.
Coordinate general ledger close, including preparation of journal entries.
Prepare monthly prepayments, accruals, depreciation, FX, and intercompany reconciliations.
Maintain the Fixed-Asset/Capex register and related reports.
Assist in year-end audit and provide timely responses to all audit requests.
Lead and contribute to ongoing and upcoming Finance transformation projects.Essential Skills and Characteristics
Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Previous costing/pricing experience (preferably in the manufacturing industry).
Knowledge of SAP or equivalent is an advantage
