Practice Accountant, Widnes, Cheshire, £35-40K + pension, private medical insurance. You must be a qualified accountant of qualified by experience (AAT or ACA) with experience in a UK Accountancy practice and ideally have experience of preparing statutory accounts, VAT, tax returns, corporation tax etc.

Experience of Xero / Dext or similar cloud software packages.

You will be joining a happy, friendly team with hands-on business owners. This is a mainly an office based role with Wednesdays working from home and also offers great career progression opportunities.

The role:

• Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
• Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns.
• Preparation of Personal Tax returns.
• General Bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns for clients.
• Regular use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
