About The Role:

We are offering an opportunity for a Junior Accounts Payable Officer with to join our dynamic team based in our new state-of-the-art offices in East Tamaki, Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing professional and accurate assistance for inquiries from creditors and branch staff, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Following up on supplier and customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Assisting in setting up supplier accounts and maintaining accurate records in collaboration with the Accounts Supervisor and Accountants.
• Conducting periodic account reconciliations and supporting General Ledger controls.
• Ensuring monthly reconciliation of creditors' statements, addressing outstanding invoices, and investigating credit balances to achieve timely month-end reconciliations.
• Assisting in the preparation of weekly payment runs and contributing to weekly cash flow forecasting.
