We are seeking multiple casual Associate FCI Analyst's to join our Financial Crime Intelligence (FCI) team at ASB Bank.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Team Leader or Manager to ensure the assessment and remediation of alerts, exceptions, and cases within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) time frames.

This role can work remotely from anywhere in NZ, however, you must be in our Auckland office for the first two weeks of employment for training (at the employee's cost).

Mo te tūranga | About the Role:

The main focus of this role will be working in projects within our FCI team and cleaning up data to help set us up for success.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Support the Team Leader or Manager in assessing and remediating alerts, exceptions, and cases promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all investigations and actions taken.
  • Develop and maintain a strong risk focus, understanding the risks inherent to our business and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Analyse and interpret data from ASB and CBA systems, customer interactions, and other relevant sources.
  • Make timely and informed decisions on the appropriate next steps.
  • Uphold confidentiality, privacy, and data protection principles at all times.
  • Ensuring confidentiality of customer and ASB data at all times.
  • Maintaining meticulous records.
  • Adhering strictly to procedures and guidelines.
