My client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable, with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word, and a working knowledge of Syspro.

This role requires an individual who is organised, efficient, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Manage and maintain accounts payable records, including invoice filing and data entry.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any invoice discrepancies or payment issues.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Assist in month-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain vendor relationships, ensuring timely payments and clear communication.
• Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• National Diploma or higher would be advantageous
• Proven experience in a AP or similar role
• Knowledge of Syspro would be advantageous
