- Financial close for month-end / quarter-end and year-end reporting.
- Preparation and presentation of the management accounts and business unit reports monthly.
- Involvement in the statutory and QMS audits as required.
- Day to day monitoring of all aspects of the financial performance of the various companies in the Mariswe Group.
- Preparation of the budget for corporate overheads.
- Prepare and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Analyse results and provide timely feedback to the CFO/Head: Corporate Services and internal / external clients.
- Review of cash position and cash flow management.
- Review VAT returns.
- Interaction with banks, internal and external auditors.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed assets.
- Tax administration and filing in various entities within the Company.
- Submission of financial information to relevant organisations.
- Support function for accounting within the Company.
- SARB applications and renewals.
- Insurance renewals / procurement where required on specific projects.
- Manage branch and corporate overheads.
- Provide financial and tax assistance for tender applications.
- Drive results through the hands-on management and supervision of the finance team.
- Compliance with and managing direct report's compliance with the company's Quality Management System (ISO9001:2015) and Business Management System (BMS).
- Maintain regular and continued professional development through on the job training, in-house courses, seminars or outsourced specialist training as required and agreed with the CFO/Head: Corporate Services.
