  • Financial close for month-end / quarter-end and year-end reporting.
  • Preparation and presentation of the management accounts and business unit reports monthly.
  • Involvement in the statutory and QMS audits as required.
  • Day to day monitoring of all aspects of the financial performance of the various companies in the Mariswe Group.
  • Preparation of the budget for corporate overheads.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budgeting process.
  • Analyse results and provide timely feedback to the CFO/Head: Corporate Services and internal / external clients.
  • Review of cash position and cash flow management.
  • Review VAT returns.
  • Interaction with banks, internal and external auditors.
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed assets.
  • Tax administration and filing in various entities within the Company.
  • Submission of financial information to relevant organisations.
  • Support function for accounting within the Company.
  • SARB applications and renewals.
  • Insurance renewals / procurement where required on specific projects.
  • Manage branch and corporate overheads.
  • Provide financial and tax assistance for tender applications.
  • Drive results through the hands-on management and supervision of the finance team.
  • Compliance with and managing direct report's compliance with the company's Quality Management System (ISO9001:2015) and Business Management System (BMS).
  • Maintain regular and continued professional development through on the job training, in-house courses, seminars or outsourced specialist training as required and agreed with the CFO/Head: Corporate Services.
