Reference: JHB000063-MDB-1Seeking a seasoned cost accountant for a well established manufacturing company based in Johannesburg- Industria.
This role involves creating and updating bill of materials, manufacturing process documents, and job cards, as well as conducting cost analyses on job cards. The Cost Accountant will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost management. The ability to work under pressure is essential in this role.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
Minimum 5 years work experience.
Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or in a related role.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and methodologies.
Strong understanding of bill of materials
Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, including working knowledge of ERP systems and Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work with large sets of data.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.
Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
