My client is a dynamic and growing airline company who pride themselves on their exceptional service. They are new to New Zealand but are backed by a large global entity. A current member of the team is moving onto a project, so they require a technically strong, financial accountant to cover for the next 3 months.

The Role

As the Financial Accountant, you will be reporting directly to an impressive CFO. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Month-end close
• Consolidating P&Ls
• GST/FBT returns
• Assisting with budgeting/forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad-hoc reporting
  
  

Your profile:

To be successful for this role you will ideally be CA qualified and have the ability to come in and hit the ground running. You will be a solutions-focused finance professional and have a keen eye for process improvements.
