We are excited to partner with this innovative business to bring the newly created role of Payroll Specialist to the market. As this market-leading manufacturing business continues to grow, they now need an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team to manage and process all payroll activities accurately and efficiently.
We would like you to have the following experience:
Previous experience in payroll processing
In-depth understanding of UK payroll legislation, taxation, and National Insurance.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Sage, ADP, or similar) and MS Office, especially Excel.
Ability to analyse complex payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in calculations and data entry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll processes to employees.
Ability to identify and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
Capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive payroll information.
A degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, HR, or a related field would be great but not essential
