Job title: Junior Accountant
Our client's team of professionals is committed to delivering excellence and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. They are an Accounting and Tax Consulting company, currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their team and grow with them
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Assist with audits and tax preparations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field

Salary: R20 000-28 000 CTC per month.
Location: Stellenbosch (office based)
Start Date: 1 August 2024
