Description
Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist required on a 6 month Contract in Midrand which will be responsible to support the Executive Head and Principal Specialist in ensuring accurate reporting, analysing data and generating insights from financial reports to drive better insights into business performance. This role is expected to manage all co-ordination needed with the regions and group to obtain necessary information for analysis, insights and enablement.
Requirements:
B.Com Accounting Honours degree
6+ years related experience
CA / CIMA with 3+ years post articles related experience
Knowledge and working experience of accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis
Experience in management reporting and analysis
Accountabilities:
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results in accordance with requirements for actual and planning cycles
Provide support to the Subsidiaries during month-end closure, forecast and budget cycles and full scope business partnering with the Operating companies
Review and report financial information accurately and timeously
Provide insightful management information with focus on month, quarter, half year, and annual results (this includes Board Pack support, Support to
Investor Relations and Tax Departments).
Contribute towards the development and improvement of financial policies, procedures and systems of internal controls in line with the Group's internal control processes.
