Leading role in financial consulting and advisory teamOpportunity to work on complex transactions and projectsCollaborative and supportive work environment What you'll do: As a Transaction Advisor, you will be at the forefront of executing complex transactions and projects. You will be responsible for providing financial advisory services, managing a multi-disciplinary team, conducting risk assessments, preparing detailed reports, participating in negotiations, presenting investment proposals, working with the internal financial modelling team, assisting in arranging finance for projects, leading due diligence processes, and coordinating teams to ensure successful execution and closing of projects. Provide financial advisory services to various private and public entities on diverse projectsManage a multi-disciplinary transaction advisory teamConduct risk assessments including identification, quantification and suggestion of strategies to mitigate project-specific risksPrepare comprehensive reports relating to the transactions including feasibility study outcomes and evaluation outcomesParticipate in negotiations and mark up legal agreementsPresent investment proposals, feasibility outcomes, negotiation outcomes to various committees, sponsors, lenders etc.Work closely with the internal financial modelling team to develop and interpret project finance modelsAssist in arranging finance for various projects (both debt and equity markets)Play a leading role in the due diligence of various projectsCoordinate the transaction advisory team to ensure execution and closing of projects What you bring: The ideal Transaction Advisor will bring a wealth of experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity or project finance. She will have an honours degree in Business Science or Commerce degree in financial mathematics, accounting or statistics with a desire to move into a direction of project and infrastructure finance. She will demonstrate knowledge of and insight into financial principles and processes, apply sound business judgement, and bring an analytical, pragmatic and creative approach to problem solving. Experience with working in Africa or other emerging markets is a distinct advantage.
