Our client is a global leader in its field, operating internationally and owned by a large corporate company. They continue to grow in their sector.


Your new role


Reporting to the CFO as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, driving informed decision-making and improving business performance. You'll lead a small global team, collaborating with various teams to enhance financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You'll be responsible for ensuring the team provide insights to the shareholders, senior management and the wider business to assist in decision-making.


This is a critical role, providing financial leadership and aligning business and finance strategy to grow the business.


We offer this role on a 15-month fixed-term contract basis to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be based in either the Didcot or London office with the ability to split their attendance between these sites and work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

What you'll need to succeed


The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a blend of technical, analytical and soft skills. You will have proven experience in a senior FP&A role, demonstrating a track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support. As a strategic thinker who can translate business strategy into actionable financial objectives, you will have the ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
We are looking for strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
