We are working closely with a prestigious North of England based business that provides professional business services to a variety of rural clients, and they are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their busy team.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join their team with the purpose of managing your own portfolio and reporting to the Head of Accounts.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • To manage a portfolio of clients' accounts for managed estates• To input and check sales and purchase ledger invoices in Xero Accounts software and approve payments• Producing and submitting VAT returns• Running client payroll• Produce and check monthly management reports• Process year end and liaise with accounts• Assist with on boarding with new clients
You would ideally have: • A recognised accountancy qualification, e.g; AAT Level 3, CIMA, ACCA • At least 5 years' experience in an accountancy/book-keeping role• Experience of Farm preferred but not essential• Experience of Xero Accounting software• Good level of numeracy and analytical skills
