We are seeking a Bookkeeper for a thriving accountancy practice based in Waltham Cross. Working in a team of five, the successful candidate will be highly motivated with strong initiative, AAT qualified (ideally to level 4) and possess a desire to build a career in the industry.

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9.00am-5:30pm

What you’ll be doing:

* General Bookkeeping

* Sales / Purchase ledgers

* Bank reconciliations

* Creditor/debtor reporting

* Prepayments / accruals / journals / cashflows

* Liaising with clients to resolve queries and obtain information

What we are looking for:

* Experience of working in an Accountancy practice is preferable

* Working knowledge of Sage Line 50 / Xero and / or QuickBooks is desirable

* Good basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge e.g. bank reconciliation, sales ledgers

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word

* Ability to work as part of a team
