Jacob Grey are partnered with an established and continuously growing business (c£120m T/O) in NW London to identify an Assistant Accountant for their busy team.

This is an excellent opportunity for any ACCA/CIMA studiers looking to further their career and gain full exposure to the production of Management Accounts. You'll be part of a supportive, progessive environment where study support is offered.

Duties include:

- Production of monthly management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss, accruals/prepayments, and journals.

- Cashflow forecasting

- Variance analysis with commentary

- VAT returns

- Involvement in the budgeting process

- Involvement in the preparation of annual statements and statutory accounting

- Bank reconciliations

- This is by no means an exhaustive list. You'll gain exposure to additional tasks as you continue to grow in the role.

Ideal Candidate

You'll need to be an ACCA/CIMA/ACA studier (early stages are perfectly fine), familiar with the month end process, and at least 2-3 years experience working in a finance department. You'll also be ambitious and keen to see your finance career progress quickly. Strong Excel skills would be a bonus.
