TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for a Junior Bookkeeper to join a fantastic local accountancy practice, based in Faversham, Kent. As a Junior Bookkeeper you will already have 6 -18 months of experience and this position will enable you to develop your skills in bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT.
Key Duties &
Responsibilities:
Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions into our accounting system.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements with our records.
Invoice Processing: Help with preparing, sending, and tracking invoices.
Expense Tracking: Record and document expenses efficiently.
Payroll Support: Assist with payroll data entry and verification.
Financial Reporting: Help generate basic financial reports for review by senior staff.
Requirements
AAT studying, qualified, or qualified by experience
6-18+ months of accountancy practice experience.
Strong Xero, sage or QuickBooks software experience
Good knowledge of Excel
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with limited supervision.
Benefits
£22,000 - £26,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
This position is office based but can be full time, or part-time.
