Exciting new opportunity! Our client is a high growth, services business in Manchester who are going through a period of sustained growth and are looking to supplement their group finance team. The business prides themselves on their people centric approach - being able to provide the finance team with opportunities to develop themselves and provide career paths across the business. The senior financial reporting manager will work closely with a talented group financial controller and CFO to ensure a robust financial control environment, develop a talented group reporting team and be actively involved in a number of high profile M&A projects.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the preparation of all group financial reporting including monthly and year end consolidation adjustments
Proactively managing the year end audit, ensuring that all deliverables are provided in line with agreed deadlines and acting as the key point of contact for the auditors
Support the annual budget process, working closely with the FC and relevant budget holders
Ensuring strong processes and best practice controls are in place and actively monitored across all areas of statutory and financial reporting, driving improved accuracy and efficiency
Provide technical support to the wider business
Business partner with both finance and non finance on M&A projects
The Successful Applicant
ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified with several years PQE
Good knowledge of IFRS15 & 16
Highly technical finance professional, ideally having worked within a group finance function.
Proven team management experience
Business partnering experience with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Good presentation skills
The successful applicant will be rewarded with a good salary and benefits package, good career progression and working a hybrid business model ( 2 days in the office 3 from home.)
