Management Accountant

Our client, an exceptional professional services firm in Nottingham, is seeking a dedicated Management Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis. With a 35-hour work week, flexible hours, and some home working opportunities available, this role offers a perfect balance between professional growth and personal life.

About the Role: This Management Accountant position is integral to the financial reporting efforts that support the performance and profitability of a thriving professional services firm. Key responsibilities include:

Preparing full monthly management accounts

Developing and monitoring KPIs with ad-hoc reporting on business performance

Conducting bank reconciliations

Managing weekly cashflows

Maintaining ledgers

Participating in project work

About You: If you have experience preparing full management accounts (including balance sheets) in a professional services environment, we would like to hear from you. This role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to transition from practice to industry within a supportive environment with ample room for growth. You should be proficient in financial reporting and likely studying towards AAT level 3 or above, or have started your ACCA, ACA, or CIMA exams.
