Salary Up to £28k pro rata

Based in Alfreton

LAB. are working with well-established client within the construction and waste removal sector to support them on their search for a Bookkeeper to join their fun, social and friendly team.

An ideal candidate would be someone with personality, who can easily integrate themselves into a close team, can have a laugh but also has a strong work ethic, is on the ball and has a keen eye for detail.

A background in waste management or construction would be desirable but not essential! However, you MUST be versed in Sage 50 to hit the ground running.

The day to day -

* Daily bookkeeping

* Posting purchase invoices and sales invoices

* Preparing VAT Returns

* Recording purchases, sales, receipts, and payments accurately

* Matching bank transactions to various software

* Filing documents in a timely manner

* Generating financial reports

* Dealing with general day to day bookkeeping queries

* Balance sheet reconciliations

* Setting up of New Supplier/Customer Accounts

You -

* Good communication skills both written and verbal.

* Use of MS packages - Confident working with spreadsheets/Excel

* Sage 50 experience is essential

* Experience working as a Bookkeeper

* Driven and self-motivated

* Willingness to work some extra hours in peak times - prior notice given

* Working hours are flexible based around 20-30 hours per week - Hours are flex over 3-5 days.

* On site parking

* Holiday is 21 +Bank Holidays

* Full Christmas shutdown

* Small social and friendly team
