Semi Senior Accountant required joining our client an Accountancy Firm located in Bury. The role would be suitable for someone ideally AAT qualified, who can prepare year end accounts, management accounts and who has Xero/sage bookkeeping experience.

Great opportunity to work with a diverse team and varied client base undertaking full range of responsibilities. Role will involve working as a team producing accounts for sole traders, charities, pensions, solicitors, SMEs and groups across various industries. The candidate will have strong technical ability and excellent client-facing skills.

Semi Senior Accountant Position Overview

Accounts /management accounts duties:

Preparation of FRS102a and FRS105 year-end accounts.
Management accounts preparation.
Draft corporation tax computations.
Knowledge of personal tax returns would be an advantage.

Outsourcing duties:

Bookkeeping, inclusive of monthly reconciliations/monthly journals
Assisting clients with payments runs, credit control etc.
VAT returns and submissions
Assisting clients with software switches

Semi Senior Accountant Position Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience within Accountancy Practice

Experienced with cloud-based software

Experience with CIS clients is beneficial

Semi Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

Salary £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Days Monday - Friday

Hours 9 am - 5:15 pm

Annual leave 21 days plus Bank Holidays
