Your role

Are you an expert at analyzing financial results for a Investment Banking business

We're looking for a Intern to:

• implement accounting controls and manage their governance
• compile and analyze financial information for Stakeholders and CFO's
• reconcile trade capture system feeds to the general ledger and manage journal entries
• prepare financial statements and other financial reports for the business and external auditors
• collaborate on continuous improvement of quality, efficiency and effectiveness of controls
  
  

Your team

The candidate will be assigned to Group Region and Country (RnC) Reporting team which provides high quality end to end reporting services to our clients.

• The team prepares periodic financial statements and other financial reports / interactive dashboards focusing on Regional and country level financial performance as per stakeholder requirement.
• Your role will be to support the reporting process and any related ad hoc activities
• Additionally you will called upon to support the team in developing solutions to automate processes and build report visualization dashboards using latest reporting tools.
  
  

Your expertise

• strong analytical and numerical skills combined with a flair of visualization
• ability to focus on details and quality
• working knowledge of MS Excel, VBA skills will be an added advantage
• understanding of accounting principles desired
• a problem solver able to scope/prioritize along guidelines and willing to take ownership
• a team player and strong communicator with interpersonal skills
• flexible and resilient with a positive attitude towards change
