We currently have a unique opportunity for a curious and highly analytical professional to join us in Auckland as a Senior Associate supporting our Corporate Finance and/or Institutional business.
Our Corporate Finance business' objective is to originate, structure and execute non-vanilla transactions for high value BNZ Corporate and Institutional clients and targets, and provide general debt and structuring advisory services to Client Directors nationally.

What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?
We are ideally looking for someone who has strong financial modelling skills and experience, gained within Business, Corporate or Institutional Banking, or another relevant profession e.g. Consulting, Legal, or Advisory.
You will also have excellent communication skills (both verbal & written), be highly analytical and have the ability to confidently prioritise and manage time critical tasks with conflicting priorities.

- Credit Assessment and Financial Modelling: Play a key role in the preparation of credit submissions, business risk assessments, financial modelling and analysis, reviewing due diligence reports in a timely and accurate manner for existing and prospect customers.
- Transaction Execution: Support senior team members with the review and preparation of terms sheets, discussion papers, loan and security documentation for internal and external use.
- Portfolio Management: Lead the management and monitoring of assets held within the portfolio, to ensure accurate reporting and monitoring for Risk and Compliance purposes.
- Market Engagement: Attending client meetings and other industry events
