As a Performance Management Specialist at ANZ you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of bank-wide reporting and analysis to key stakeholders across the business, translating numbers and data into actionable insights to drive business performance and efficiency. You will bring a special focus to providing finance support on planning, forecasting and reporting related functions to support critical decision-making processes.

As a Performance Management Specialist your key accountabilities will include:
- Build collaborative working relationships with Finance Business Partners, Enterprise Performance Management team members, Senior Management and other key stakeholders across the business
- Communicate and deliver bank-wide financial analysis including capital modelling and stress testing to key stakeholders including CEO, CFO and the Board.
- Support the Institutional division to drive short, middle and long term financial measures to meet financial targets and ensure the effective allocation of resources
- Provide insights to support decision-making relates process to drive business performance and support critical finance initiatives
- Ensure key financial management processes across New Zealand and Pacific are in place and running smoothly
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Superior stakeholder management and relationship building skills, and ability to keep multiple audiences engaged and informed
- High proficiency in Excel, including skills in structuring, analysing and manipulating data
- Logical and conceptual reasoning skills and ability to create new insights based on novel information and data
- Experience in the setting of business targets, including balance sheet performance (capital and funding), revenue and cost is desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate initiatives, projects, ideas or progress to senior stakeholders and influencing effective critical financial decisions based on financial models, scenario analysis and experience
- Knowledge of analytics, MIS, BI finance systems and how to use them to communicate effectively at senior management levels
- Demonstrated ability to role model behaviours consistent with ANZ values and Growth Mindset
- Previous experience working in a comparable role in a banking environment is highly desireable
