Position: Cashbook Clerk
Location: Pomona
Position Summary:
My client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cashbook Clerk to join their finance team. The Cashbook Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all cash transactions, reconciling bank statements, and processing payments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Record all cash transactions accurately in the cashbook.
2. Reconcile the company's cashbook with bank statements on a regular basis.
3. Process payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner.
4. Assist with preparing financial reports and statements as needed.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cash handling.
6. Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.
7. Assist with ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Min of Matric essential; Degree, Certificate or Diploma advantageous.
2. Experience working on AccPac advantageous.
3. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
