Title: Senior Financial Analyst (Gen)
Location: Cleveland, OH 44103
12 Months
Schedule: Currently team adheres to a 3/2 Hybrid schedule with Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office. Monday & Friday are at home but can be worked in office if preferred.
Quick description of the role or project story (What this role will be doing):
Implements, and coordinates cost controls for the emerging gas construction project. Coordinates financial reporting and scenario analysis. Develops and reviews project estimates, schedules, and capital budgets. Analyzes monthly cost reports. Monitors actual project cost and/or work status, ensuring projects proceed on schedule and within budget. Provides status reports and updates to management. Supports contract negotiations. Attends meetings with contractors and company personnel on cost control matters. Interfaces and coordinates with other corporate and operations groups. Abides by cost and planning control policy and procedures.
- Consolidation of capital spend forecasting and budgeting.
o Compile, review, and present monthly forecasting schedules
o Manage Out of Cycle (OOC) capital requests.
o Lead monthly capital review call (SOX compliance)
- Review of Economic Models
- Individual plan forecasting and budgeting.
o Partner with business partners to review actuals, variance comments, and forecast updates.
o Proactively update month-to-date spend with business.
o Recurring reporting.
- Other Ad hoc activities as assigned.
Top Required Skills
1) MUST have hands on experience with SAP & Excel and there use in creating/compiling/reviewing monthly forecasting schedules to present monthly
2) MUST have managed capital budget and forecasting for 200-300 projects or O+M budget and forecasting with multiple business units.
3) MUST be able to manage Out of Cycle (OOC) capital requests
4) MUST have handled and have direct hands on experience with leading monthly capital review calls (SOX compliance)

o Will need to work as a part of a team on daily basis
