About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Global Costing Analyst, who will be building capability and de-risking the Costing Knowledge at Fisher and Paykel Appliances, while expanding the capacity to meet the evolving needs of a global centre of excellence. This role will require liaising with a wide range of stakeholders such as Global Supply Chain, Product Development, Manufacturing and Distributors.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Oversight of all aspects of our Global Cost accounting processes including hands on support for new business units, month end checks and review of product profitability.
  
• Ensuring master data is setup for any new products or Business model changes.
  
• Preparation and communication of Forecast and Budget master data.
  
• Updating and maintaining global team value chains, including business unit pricing.
  
• Performing Month end Reporting and Analysis, as well as Budgeting and Forecasting for a small business unit.
  

To excel this role, you'll have:

• Relevant accounting experience ideally in a global organisation
  
• Consumer goods / Distributor / Manufacturing or FMCG experience an advantage.
  
• Good financial understanding and analytical skills.
  
• Experienced in operating with multiple systems within a large-scale transaction heavy data environment, such as ERP (preferably JED or similar)
  
• Problem solving skills, especially within a large ERP/Data warehouse environment.
