As a Finance Intern at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Africa (SRCSA), you will play a crucial role in supporting various financial activities and gaining practical experience in a dynamic industry. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their financial skills and kickstart their career in the insurance sector.

This is a 12 month internship with an expected start date by 1st of September 2024 latest.

About the Role

• Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Help in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for management.
• Participate in financial audits and compliance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Support in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.
• Conduct research and analysis on financial trends and industry benchmarks to provide insights to the team.

About You

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of financial principles and practices is advantageous.
