Convergence Group is seeking a Finance Manager to join our busy finance team and focus on all aspects of gross margin management.

A glimpse into your day:
  • Leadership: manage the team of 3 to achieve their KPIs through daily engagement, clear communication, and regular expectation setting.
  • Analysis expert: examine tasks impacting team performance and quality standards, identify root causes and report issues to the Finance Controller.
  • Target reviews: monthly time on task target against skills matrix targets and the finance month end and timetable to identify areas needing improvement.
  • Processing accountability: from reviews of purchase ledger invoice reconciliations to billing processes youre on it!
  • Month-End Accountability: Oversee all transactional gross margin month-end close processes.
  • Continuous improvement: identifying areas where we can improve processes, systems, and financial outcomes / savings.

You'll really need to know your stuff which means:
  • You'll be a fully qualified accountant with ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
  • 2 years experience as a Finance Manager or similar, in a busy finance team.
  • Experience of managing a small team.
  • Proven knowledge of financial control gained in industry or practice.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite (preferred), or similar complex finance system.

The Nitty Gritty:
  • This is a full-time role, you'll be working 37.5 hours per week, but no weekends, it's Monday to Friday.
