  • Accurately post and reconcile payments received from various sources, including insurance companies, patients, and government payers.
  • Verify the accuracy of payment amounts, adjustments, and denials.
  • Enter payment data into the billing system and ensure all information is correctly recorded.
  • Analyze remittance advice or Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to identify discrepancies, underpayments, or overpayments.
  • Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Identify denied claims and understand the reasons for denials.
  • Work closely with the denial management team to address and resolve claim denials, ensuring maximum reimbursement.
  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of patient received against posted payments.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities in cash reconciliation.
  • Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and other stakeholders to resolve payment-related inquiries or issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
