Fantastic opportunity for a Personal Tax Senior to join a growing, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Huddersfield.This firm offer a range of services from accounts, audit, tax, corporate finance, and much more! Established over a century ago, this firm services a variety of clients, ensuring you get well-rounded experience to keep your work life balanced and interesting!About the role:
  • Manage your own portfolio of self-assessment tax clients.
  • Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, and Trusts, across a wide range of clients.
  • Creating solutions for clients on a range of tax matters including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and dealing with HMRC enquiries,
  • Preparation of forms P11d and calculation of benefits in kind for employees.
  • Assist with advisory work as and when required.

About the candidate:
  • 3+ years' Practice experience in a Personal Tax role
  • ATT or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience.
  • Strong tax knowledge, with an understanding of corporate tax being advantageous but not essential.

Additional information:
  • 24 days annual leave + bank holidays.

  • Salary from £40,000p/a to £50,000p/a
