Purchase Ledger Assistant £26,000 - £28,000East Kilbride

Are you ready to take your accounting skills to the next level? Search is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant for a client based in East Kilbride. This exciting role involves supporting all aspects of the daily purchase ledger function and includes some reception duties.

What We're Looking For:- A keen eye for detail.- Excellent communication skills with staff at all levels across the business.- A methodical, diligent, and proactive approach to tasks.- Relevant experience in a similar role.- Experience in a construction environment is a plus but not essential.- Strong multitasking abilities.

Key

Responsibilities:
- Issue purchase orders as needed.- Accurately and promptly match purchase invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, and process goods received and purchase invoices to the ledger according to internal procedures.- Resolve supplier and site queries efficiently.- Arrange accommodation for site personnel as instructed.- Handle general filing tasks.- Perform any ad hoc duties as required.
