Three Bridges Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation, based in Livingston, to recruit a Financial Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join the company at an exciting stage in its expansion.

Job

The role of Financial Controller will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
  • Delivering consolidated monthly management accounts promptly
  • Producing yearly statutory accounts
  • Analyzing the performance of distribution hubs and the manufacturing site
  • Ensuring timely data provision from hub Finance Managers and Management Accountants
  • Monitoring financial controls and ensuring compliance with group processes
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts with hub finance teams
  • Supporting statutory audit and accounts preparation
  • Advising on sales mix, pricing strategy, and impacts on the cost of goods
  • Identifying opportunities and risks to hub profitability
  • Advising on hub working capital opportunities and risks
  • Defining and advising on Key Performance Indicators for hub performance
  • Engaging in ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Director

You

As a Financial Controller you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum of five years post qualification experience
  • Strong competence in MS Office
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing tax requirements is advantageous
  • Proactivity in driving business performance improvements
  • Open communication style
  • High integrity
  • Flexibility in work schedule to meet deadlines
  • Management and analysis of complex data
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Supportive team player
