We are the captive Shared Service Provider for DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Freight (DGFF). We are an organization of more than 4,600 colleagues complemented by approximately 500 virtual FTE (i.e., bots applied in process automation). Our colleagues are based across six service delivery centers in Mumbai, Chennai, Chengdu, Manila, Bogota & Budapest. You will interact with people from all over the world and get the chance to a truly international organization.

As a Record to Report expert (Trainer), the role will be responsible for providing expertise in Record to Report (RTR) within the Finance Service Line. It will entail facilitating process, system and other global training initiatives, utilizing strong communication skills to ensure effective knowledge transfer. Additionally, the role will involve mentoring team members to enhance proficiency and foster a culture of learning and development within the Finance Service line.



  • Process Training Conduct:
    • Lead process training sessions for the allocated tower within the Finance Service Line.
    • Translate process requirements into comprehensive training materials to facilitate accurate knowledge transfer.
  • Training Development and Delivery:
    • Develop and conduct instructor-led training sessions, including preparation of materials, aids, and manuals.
    • Ensure training effectiveness by assessing the incorporation of taught skills into employees' work behavior. Conduct refresher sessions and assess new training needs accordingly.
  • Feedback and Evaluation:
    • Solicit feedback from trainees and stakeholders to ensure training is well-received and effective.
    • Periodically evaluate training modules and materials to reflect any changes or updates in processes.
  • Continuous Learning and Collaboration:
    • Conduct regular assessments to ensure knowledge remains up-to-date and relevant.
    • Engage with Global Process Experts to collaborate on training initiatives and other global projects.
    • Facilitate effective knowledge transfer from Global Process Teams, ensuring adherence to Global Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) via TTKF.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Interact and align with internal and external delivery and support teams.
    • Provide regular status reports to management, including updates on key initiatives and training activities.
  • Global Training and SOP Management:
    • Conduct regular trainings across various geographies and centers, ensuring consistent knowledge transfer.
    • Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and question any deviations from global processes. Escalate deviations to Process Experts for resolution.
  • Support and Issue Resolution:
    • Provide support on user access management, maintaining trackers, and recording activities in SharePoint.
    • Conduct hypercare calls, track issues, and escalate for timely resolution.
  • UAT Testing:
    • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for countries within the GSC scope to ensure proper functionality of menus and systems.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Work Experience:
  • University degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Over 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in Finance processes and/or operational processes with a direct linkage to financial processes within the industry, (preferably Logistics)
  • Prior experience in Record to Report within Finance is mandatory, demonstrating a strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes and best practices.
  • Proven track record as a process trainer in Finance, specializing in areas such as Record-to-Report (R2R), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), or Financial Analysis. (Preferred)
  • Experience in leading process training sessions tailored to the Finance domain, ensuring accurate knowledge transfer and alignment with industry standards and best practice. (Preferred)

Finance Process Expertise:
  • Excellent understanding of Finance processes, particularly in Record-to-Report (R2R), including financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in assessing changes in process design to optimize R2R processes and ensure alignment with global best practices.
