About the team

You will be part of order to cash vertical comprising various AR operations like Billing- Software License and maintenance, Data processing, Professional Services billing, support functions, customer MDM, Contract Valuation and Terminations, AR collection and Customer Service representative

What you will be doing
  • Through various means of research, verify, validate, monitor, and measure data quality in Entity Management System
  • Research and determine legal relationships of parent/child relationships (corporate hierarchy within an organization) to ensure accuracy of revenue reporting.
  • Research reasons that an account should be inactivated (i.e. part of a legal merger/acquisition, government assisted failure, liquidation/bankruptcy or duplication within the data)
  • Manage the mapping of bank numbers and/or billing identifiers to the correct entity for ticket management, invoice viewing, revenue reporting, client portal documentation viewing, sales reporting and territory building (this is critical as numerous identifiers are utilized in various systems throughout FIS and it imperative these numbers are accurate from a security standpoint)
  • Integrate and effectively use data quality tools including web-enabled tools like SNL and Capital IQ and research tools like the FDIC and NIC websites, as well as Google searches to determine best course of action.
  • Partner with internal departments to build integrity rules and define business processes.
  • Own data administration and ensure data processes are complete and accurate.
  • Approve security requests for EMS access.
  • Make corrections and take actions to prevent errors.
  • Develop processes for data cleaning and maintenance.
  • Drive process improvement and data quality initiatives in order to educate and drive awareness of the importance of data quality across the organization.


What you bring
  • 1-3 years’ experience in billing operations
  • Work time is 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM
  • Strong Accounting Knowledge - Billing operations, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting
  • Extensive experience in License & Support and professional Invoicing
  • Exposure in client terminations
  • Ability to meet all targets as per month close calendar to ensure the billing completed timely.
  • Ability to process credit memo requests from business units as per established workflow and approval limits.
  • Knowledge of Contracts and concepts like Credit Notes, Re-bill
